Absolute Resource Associates (ARA) provides professional, certified environmental services to customers all over New England. We help our clients who want to, or are required to, test and investigate environmental contaminants in soil, water and the indoor environment.

Environmental Services

Our services include certified laboratory services, indoor air quality services, and complete environmental project management related to contamination or suspected contamination of water, soil, and indoor air. We are dedicated to providing technically sound and quality focused solutions together with exceptional customer service.

The principals and partners of Absolute Resource Associates have over 120 years of combined experience in the environmental industry. Absolute Resource Associates has an atmosphere and culture which has demonstrated success with both large and small customers. Our client base includes residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and federal agencies. We pride ourselves in being a team member to our customers, while working diligently to understand and support their project needs.

Environmental Policy

In order to comply with state and federal regulations, and to keep current with the latest industry procedures, ARA regularly updates our long list of industry certifications and accreditations. While not required for each and every project, these various certifications help assure our clients that we hold ourselves to the highest possible standards.

History

In November of 2000, owners Susan and Guy Sylvester purchased a small, struggling environmental testing laboratory in Portsmouth, NH called Resource Laboratories LLC. Over the next few years, the laboratory doubled in revenue as word began to spread about the firm’s commitment to quality data, superior technical support, and highly responsive customer service.

In 2007, the owners launched a new business division, providing indoor air quality services to commercial and residential customers. This line of business was developed with firm adherence to regulatory and industry standards and certifications. Adding these services rounded out the company’s offerings, and in January, 2011, the company was rebranded as Absolute Resource Associates (ARA).

“Serving our Customers and the Environment” since 2000, ARA has since tripled in revenue, staffing and facility size, and is now well-known in the federal, commercial and residential markets as one of the top environmental firms in New England.

ARA’s mission is to provide our customers with quality data and technical services by focusing on technical expertise and superior customer service, utilizing environmentally friendly technologies, and providing direct access to technical resources. By providing consistent, reliable support and services, we will demonstrate our commitment to our customers’ success.
